Some Day My Prince Will Come

I can't let this one go by with no explanation.
A year or so ago (maybe longer) there were a couple of big civic art campaigns here in the city. The first project was fish, the second project was frogs. Large businesses purchased the undecorated statues and commissioned local artists to "interpret" them. Now, there are all these weird giant frog and fish statues all over town.
Yep, it's just that kind of place.

Still There

This is my building -- as it was in 1905. I have the second floor corner room; the two windows on the left and one on the right of the corner are my place, just as it was then.

After it was a hotel, it was a brothel for awhile -- and you can tell.

Presque Isle

Yes, yes, it's so very beautiful. It still can't hold a candle to the Big Woods.
I wish I was there right now.
